About Community Art Day
Our Mission
Community Art Day brings people together to celebrate the power of art in our community. Our goal is to raise funds to support local artists and provide engaging creative activities for the public. The event will gather approximately two thousand people, including artists, families, and community members, for a day filled with art, music, and fun. It will feature workshops, resource stations, guest speakers, local musicians, and back-to-school giveaways. With our collaboration with 52nd street CACC We aim to showcase the 52nd Street Cultural Arts Corridor as a vibrant and welcoming destination for both residents and visitors. By pooling resources together, we will amplify our collective voice by providing efficient programs, supporting and enhancing engagement with local businesses, and showing lasting value for the community.

The joint celebration will showcase the creativity and unity of our community, as two blocks of 52nd Street come alive with art, music, and cultural activities. This collaboration between Family Survival and the 52nd St CACC, featuring ACAF, Urban Art Gallery, Black Ice, Brown Sugar Bakery,
Dynamite Pest Control, Hakim Bookstore, NV My Eyewear, and Cotton's Place, promises to inspire, entertain, and bring joy to all attendees.
